Personality tests have been popular ever since they appeared in every magazine in every waiting room.

Most people don’t realize that some personality tests are less valid than others. Most notably the Enneagram and the Myers Briggs. Two tests that have been pervasive and gained a close association with the academic study of personality in psychology. These two pernicious tests are used in place of real reflection on identity and personality.

I find that the Enneagram and the Myers Briggs tests, with their popularity, only succeed in spreading misinformation about the formal insights into identity and personality.

In this video, I voice some criticisms of the much-loved personality tests.

Awesome video. Humans are too messy to be classified into little boxes. Plus, it discourages us from transcending these boundaries and bettering ourselves.

Thanks, I am glad you agree! Categorizing people into false categories can only cause problems.
